A lamp in the shape of a bird that resembles pigeons has a round opening on the tail through which the oil is poured. This opening is also used for inserting the wick, which when ignited, gives light.

The head of the bird has a movable cover with a chain, which is used to hang the lamp. The shape of the bird is similar to a pigeon indicating the meaning of peace. This lamp is made of brass with some decorations engraved upon it.
