Chapel of Montuhotep and Doorjambs of Merenptah
On the end wall of the Chapel of Montuhotep, King Montuhotep is depicted smiting prisoners, although none are shown.
On the left wall, Montuhotep is dressed like the god Amun. He is shown being nursed by the goddess Hathor in the presence of the gods Re-Horakhty and Min. On the right wall, the king is being conducted by the god Re-Horakhty.
Below, on the left, Montuhotep is seated in a shrine receiving offerings, while on the right Hathor holds the symbol of life to his nose.
The doorjambs, however, bear the names and titles of King Merenptah of the Nineteenth Dynasty.
