Beadwork Cloth 244-3-10

This decorative piece of cloth contains blue and green faience beads with copper rondos, or doughnut-shaped jewelry, in the middle. The beads are attached to each other by wire.

This form of a beaded net, which covered the front part of the mummy for magical protective purposes, is composed of rectangular links and beads. This artifact is a precious object of innovative design and craftsmanship.
