Bone Engraved with Jesus Christ 65-9-c10

A picture of the Lord Jesus Christ is carved on this almost square piece of ivory. The Lord Jesus Christ is giving a blessing with his right hand and holding a book in his left.

A halo of laurel leaves is depicted on his head. On this halo, the words "the laurel crown" are inscribed in Coptic letters (O.W.N). On the left side, "Jesus Christ" is written in Coptic.
