Canopic Jar with Human-Headed Lid 657-6-10
This tall, slender canopic jar that has a lid shaped like the head of a man was used to store embalmed internal organs. The jar is rather large.

The lid portrays a man wearing a long wig that falls to his shoulders and a long divine beard. His eyes are outlined with wide cosmetic lines.

The neck of the jar is decorated with a semicircular colored necklace, hanging down its body. Below the necklace, a vertical line of hieroglyphs records the name of Qebehsenuef, one of the four sons of Horus.
