Block Bearing the Name of King Sahure
This small hieroglyphic inscription, probably once a part of a wall or a column, gives only two names for King Sahure. The first one is the Horus name inscribed inside the Serekh, or facade of the palace, below a depiction of the falcon god Horus. The second one, the official coronation name "Sahure," is inscribed inside the royal cartouche. | ||
